Data Engineer

We are a regulated entity that’s operational globally, and in 48 states across the U.S. CEX.IO is scaling the product org to match our increasing breadth of exciting products. We are looking for a talented Data Engineer. If you are a consumer product builder and collaborator, you’ll love working at CEX.IO. We are looking for a leader to be the driving force behind creating world class user digital experiences. This role will partner closely with Product & Engineering leadership and is responsible for all CEX design and user experience. Data Engineer (must have at least 3 years of experience) Qualifications Fluency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases Able to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamically changing business environment Experience with relational SQL databases, such as Postgres, etc You have familiarity with Linux Responsibilities Versed in ETL design, implementation and maintenance Develop APIs and write code to transform and enrich data in both batch and streaming scenarios Solving end-to-end problems across the service stack Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance In return we offer: Engineers have an opportunity to influence product development with 4M+ customers worldwide and 6-8k users daily; We have technically complex unusual projects in the key of mathematics, algorithms, high load, security; Our company is open to new technologies and not tied to a specific stack; Competitive remuneration; Transparent bonus system; Opportunity to work remotely, still having an option visit comfy office; Corporate laptop.
